To preserve the value of your windows made from REHAU profiles
How are the seals cared for?
Clean the seals with water and grease them regularly with a silicone pen.
How is the fittings maintained?
At least once a year you should give the moving hardware parts a drop of oil so that your windows continue to open and close smoothly.
This is what you need to care and maintain your windows:
- Commercially available dishwashing liquid for regular cleaning of the glasses and frames if they are slightly dirty
- Chamois leather for a crystal-clear view
- REHAU care cleaner for professional cleaning and care of the frames, especially for heavy and emission-related contamination (available from your window specialist)
- Oil for fittings
- Soft cloths for maintaining the beautiful, shiny REHAU profile surfaces
- Silicone care stick for greasing the seals (available from your window specialist)
Recommendation
In order to prevent any permanent impairment of the functions, we recommend regular maintenance of the fittings to ensure they are secure, moveable and usable by your REHAU window specialist.
